The purpose of the LONGHORN STRINGS BOOSTER TEAM is to assist with and enhance Nolan Ryan Junior High (NRJH) String Orchestra activities by making every orchestra student's experience at NRJH the best it can be!

The objectives of the BOOSTER TEAM are as follows:

Encourage and support the academic endeavors of the NRJH String Orchestra students.
Help the orchestra teacher/staff with organizing and staging of special events and projects.
Promote NRJH Orchestra spirit and sportsmanship.
Promote and serve as a visual team representation to our families, our district, and our community by exemplifying the importance of the NRJH String Orchestra to our current and prospective students' educational success.
Provide volunteers for educational and extracurricular activities. Acquire external sponsorship through marketing and communications.
Provide supplementary financial support for the various activities
Organize approved extracurricular activities and spirit events
